    Current Research Projects:

Anthropology is the holistic study of humanity past and present.  I am a cultural anthropologist with a pragmatic theoretical perspective.  I am specifically interested in how applied anthropology, and an appreciation for cultural diversity, can provide different perspectives on real-world phenomenon, projects and problems.

In addition to research, I am committed to quality, active education. As a life-long learner and teacher/facilitator, I aim to create a stimulating, inclusive and bias-free learning environment; an environment that embraces diversity, acknowledges different learning styles and encourages a lifelong passion for learning. As an educator, I pride myself on creating challenging, thought provoking, timely and relevant syllabi using the latest in educational technology.
