Biography
Dr. Kulhanek is an Assistant Instructional Professor and the Coordinator of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Communication and Journalism. She earned her B.A. in Communication from Texas A&M University, an M.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University, and an Ed.D. in Leadership & Innovation from Arizona State University. She is also the Director of CMJR Honors and Course Director for Group Communication. Dr. Kulhanek joined the department in 2015 as an academic advisor. She spent 8 years in academic advising before joining the CMJR faculty in 2022. She teaches courses in group communication, communication leadership, conflict management, and mediation. She also directs the internship program and Undergraduate Teaching Academy.
