Biography
Afruza Aminul is a fifth year graduate student and Avilés-Johnson Fellow studying race, class, and migration in arts-centered spaces. Her current research focuses on the degree of accessibility of arts-centered spaces in Houston for marginalized individuals. She previously earned her B.A. in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma and M.S. in Sociology from Texas A&M University.
